It’s time for the Baker’s Meme response ~ Chatterbox Chuck

OK, so I have found out that this is called Sunday Stealing and that it was started at WTIT: The Blog. Basically one takes someone else’s Meme and one posts it on ones blog spreading the word even more. There are times when the meme n steals could have already been stolen and God knows how many more times before that it was stolen and in a sense it’s the whole point of Stealing Sunday, spread the word baby, spread the word.

Well, this one I got from the Morning Erection blog which is why it’s being called Baker’s Meme. Here is my response to this meme:

1. If you could interview anyone on your blog (alive or dead) who would you chose and why?

Michael J Fox, he has been the star of some of my favorite 80’s movies and I am a big 80’s guy. I have always considered him pretty cool.

2. What do you feel is your strength as a blogger?

The fact that I talk too much, which is why I call myself Chatterbox Chuck. I ran for class chatterbox at my high school but I didn’t win because I had only been in the school for 1 year. Had I been there longer I would have won hands down. I got the yearbook with the nick name “motormouth” to prove it.

3. Can you share a little bit about yourself that you have not already mentioned on your blog?

Well, I’m talk, dark and handsome. Nah!, Just kidding. I’m a passionate Hispanic who strongly sticks to his beliefs but I admit I do have a hard time expressing myself even though I talk a lot because I’m afraid of rejection. Loneliness would probably be the worst punishment for a guy like me. But during my years as blogger I have been learning to overcome this which is why I am answering this question. Otherwise I would have said something else because this is kinda embarrassing to be honest.

4. If you were forced to change the name of your blog, what would you change it to? Why?

Ironically I was forced to change my site name already. My previous site was called Chatterbox Chuck but because I had kinda abandoned the site due to personal reasons and I also kinda messed with the template code too much it became difficult to maintain and make it look like I wanted. My blog is now called Chatterbox Dude and odds are I may keep it once I get my own domain next year if I am able to draw an audience to it. If not I may go back to calling it Chatterbox Chuck.

5. What do you think is the most fulfilling part of being a blogger?

Being able to talk about what I want to talk about and find people interested in what I have to say. I enjoy debates on blogs, especially political ones as this not only is entertaining but I believe it also helps get people interested, motivated and even educated on a topic as important as the future of this nation, and that future lies in the hands on politics.

6. What would you do with your last day if you found you had only one more day to
live?

I would spend every minute of it with my 3 kids. I have long thought about the idea of not being with them ever since my brother got divorced and could only have the kids on certain days and then his ex-wife moved to another state and got married again making it even harder to see the kids. It break into tears at the idea of not having my 3 boys with me and although I don’t fear death as we will all die someday anyways, I do hate knowing that someday I will no longer be by their sides.

7. You’ve been doing medical research for decades and have finally found a cure. What was it that you found a cure for and why did you choose this particular ailment?

ADD and ADHD. For so many years I’ve heard stories of kids that suffer simply because they are not “normal” like everyone else (although technically there is no such thing as normal) and I think it’s unfair for those who have these medical problems. This medical problem basically makes peoples lives (especially children’s) impossible to live and life is already hard as it is.

8. What is your most guilty pleasure?

Having bought a $1,200 laptop a couple of years ago. yea, I know that was a long time ago but it’s the only time I have spent so much at one time for just 1 thing, besides a car but used cars I don’t consider guilty pleases, more like necessities that we could only afford at the time. New year I plant on doing something similar and perhaps a bit more expensive except this time as oppose to 1 very expensive item, it will be multiple semi expensive items that will be combined to make a single very expensive item, a new gaming computer.

9. Answer only one. What is your favorite book, movie or TV show?

TV show: Star Trek Series (I am not a Trekkie though)

10. What do you think is the very best smell in the world? The one smell that can take you back to a time and place of a very vivid memory in your past?

My momma’s cooking. I can’t pick a specific one as all her cooking takes me back to when I was a kid regardless where we were, what season it was or even who was around at the time.
